Underfloor heating installation in Maidstone
Underfloor heating installation in Maidstone
The wet (hydronic) underfloor heating system was installed throughout a bungalow as part of renovation works, covering an approximate total area of 190 m².
XPS insulation panels with an aluminium foil facing were laid directly over the existing screeded floor. The panels feature pre-grooved channels, allowing for precise, secure, and efficient placement of the heating pipework. The high-density construction of the XPS panels provides excellent compressive strength, enabling the installation of a floating floor finish directly on top of the panels without the need for an additional screed layer.
This system improves thermal efficiency by directing heat upward, reduces floor build-up height, and allows for faster installation while maintaining suitability for modern floating floor finishes such as laminate or engineered timber.
New kitchen installation in Crystal Palace
The existing kitchen was removed and replaced with a modern kitchen supplied by our partner, Howdens, including the installation of a new kitchen island. Following demolition, our installers completed the necessary first-fix plumbing and electrical works. New electrical circuits were installed, including a dedicated kitchen ring main and separate radial circuits to supply the new induction hob and oven. The installation was carried out to current regulations in preparation for final kitchen fit and commissioning.
